Despite my brash show of arrogance I didn’t truly believe I would win the last Mystery Topic Challenge. In all honesty I thought my earlier two entries were much better than that one. There is no doubt in my mind that my initial word would not have made a winning post so that leaves me to conclude that it was the rare insight into my psyche that people enjoyed. For that I really must thank Jayne for inspiring the rethink. Were it not for her frank posts about the bullying she suffered I doubt I would have opened up.
Thanks must also go to Some Go Softly for thinking up such a great topic. It got my juices flowing right from the get-go. Also I’d like to take this time to thank Romi for providing stiff competition (in the end I won only by one vote) and making it that much more thrilling. Last but not least I’d like to thank the readers who voted for me. The really satisfying part of winning is knowing people really enjoyed my post. There’d be no point blogging if people weren’t reading and enjoying it.
